Welcome to Bookbloc: An introduction

Hello and welcome to our first blog post, which will act as an introduction to Bookbloc and its services.

What is Bookbloc?

  • Bookbloc is a unique literary network that connects authors with publishers, readers and each other, in a bid to find previously undiscovered writers.
  • Readers can vote and comment on work published through the site.

How does it work for publishers?

  • Literary agents are often overwhelmed with manuscripts.
  • The voting and reviewing aspect of the site means that literary agents and publishers can gauge the audiences response to a piece, as well as its popularity.
  • It offers insight into trends within a literary community.
  • Publishers can also have a customised microsite on Bookbloc.

How does it work for readers?

  • Readers on Bookbloc get the opportunity to read, review and rate work from upcoming authors before anyone else.
  • Create your own unique profile.
  • Connect to friends with a similar interest in literature as you.
